Why Elevation Athletics?

At Elevation Athletics you will be seen for 1 hour by a Doctor of Physical Therapy. You will not be handed off to an untrained tech. You will get results quicker. More time 1 on 1 with you, the faster you get results. We will provide you with the knowledge and skills to remain pain free as long as possible. You get treated by Doctors who are athletes and will NOT tell you to stop or slow down.

Do I need referral to be seen by Elevation Athletics?

No. In the state of Texas you are able to be seen for 3 weeks without the need for a referral. If you are wanting to submit for reimbursement, a referral will be needed. We can help you get this after your evaluation!

What will my treatment sessions look like?

Your treatment sessions will vary based on your goals. Your first evaluation our Doctors will provide you a diagnosis, plan of care, and start to begin treatment. Our treatment model does not include boring or pointless movements. We utilize barbells, kettlebells, dumbbells, and various manual therapy approaches to get you back as fast as possible. We have also been known to hit new PR’s with our patients during their plan of care!

What is "Out-of-Network" Physical Therapy?

In an out of network treatment model, our physical therapists enter an agreement with you to provide treatment that was agreed upon by both parties. Customers will pay at the time of service and there will be no hidden costs, fees, or surprise bills. This model allows us to provide a totally unique and different approach, allowing one-on-one care specifically tailored to your goals.

How Does Out of Network Physical Therapy Work?

Working with an Out of Network practice, customers pay using actual cash, checks, HSA or FSA funds, or credit/debit cards. You can also submit the receipts to your insurance company that will be paid directly back to you from the insurance carrier. With the exception of Medicare, Medicaid, or some HMO's, many insurance companies provide reimbursement for services received from "out of network" physical therapists. Out of Network does not mean the Physical Therapist is short on education or has less qualifications. All of our providers on staff have Doctorate level training and we choose this model to provide the best healthcare possible to our clients living in North Fort Worth, Texas.

What's the Advantage of Out of Network vs Traditional PT?

Out of Network PT may seem more expensive, but it actually saves you time, money, and resources. With a traditional model your care is dictated by your insurance company and not your physical therapist. Many techniques and procedures are not actually "reimbursable" which means either your PT will not provide those services, or the bill will be passed down to you at a future date. Co-pays can range from $50-100 per session and they usually want you to come in 2-3 times per week. That can add up to $300 per week of care that is not personalized, templated, or performance based. With an out of network physical therapy clinic, 100% of your treatment plan is between you and your physical therapist. No oversight can dictate what is best for you. You can receive the full potential of what our Doctors can provide with the latest rehab techniques such as manual therapy, dry needling, BFR (blood flow restriction training), legit strength training etc.
